Newly Refurbished Designer Apartment for Sale by Maurizio Pellizzoni in partnership with Andrew Martin ltd
Leading London based international interior designer, Maurizio Pellizzoni, has undertaken an exciting refurbishment of a one-bedroom investment apartment furnished in partnership with Andrew Martin Ltd, to be sold with contents. Based in Lewisham, the property is currently being marketed with Robinson Jackson as an apartment that’s ready to move with into with all contents. This project collaboration has been undertaken to offer a full turnkey solution beautifully designed by a professional interior designer with stunning pieces by Andrew Martin Ltd.
Maurizio Pellizzoni says: “Andrew Martin was a natural choice for the collaboration as their furniture and accessories perfectly combine luxury with timeless design. I immediately saw the potential with this apartment and Andrew Martin’s designs complement the architecture of the building in an upcoming area of Lewisham. The area is developing well and it’s becoming more in demand as a place to reside.”
For time poor professionals with aspiring looks for their interior design scheme, this property cuts out the need to source all the items for a home and beautifully transform their new property without the hassle. This complements the heightened trend for the instant demand of services and products in the consumer market. The apartment will also appeal to first time buyers who perhaps don’t already own furniture and can purchase a pre-furnished apartment without the need to source plus the bonus of having a home professionally designed. If some items are not desired, then they have the option to remove these from inclusion of the sale. It also has appeal to second homeowners or investors to buy to let.
The entire apartment has been fully refurbished with extensive works from the removal of internal walls to complete space planning. Originally the property featured a very large bedroom with the bathroom consuming vital living space and a tiny kitchen. The living room hallway was originally also very long, dark and unwelcoming.
Pellizzoni continues: “I took a highly detailed approach to the space planning to maximise the best use of space and create as much storage as possible. The architectural print design of the Andrew Martin wallpaper was the perfect choice to connect the flow of the apartment and I chose to wrap it around the main walls of the entire apartment. I selected a light grey colour scheme with a dark blue and black accent to create a modern interior. Art is an important element in all of my projects to create an ambience in every space. I used a selection from Andrew Martin and complemented these with framed photography by OnGallery to elevate the furniture to create a modern fresh look.”
As an area, Lewisham has become an upcoming, affordable hotspot in South East London and has undergone considerable redevelopment in the last 12 months with the Gateway development. Despite being a basement flat, Maurizio has opened up the living room with an open plan space to create a bright and airy living space. The patio and garden are south facing, perfect for long summer evenings and with the large French doors, the apartment space naturally brings the outdoors in. It’s also perhaps more of a cost effective solution standard show house developments where fittings alone can cost in excess of £10k with furniture on top of this. A survey last year suggested an increase in searches for fully furnished properties for sale. For those who don’t have a vision to beautifully style an apartment or replicate a look, this is a perfect and very practical solution.
"It is not often that you hear someone say that they enjoyed their house redecoration project and not only did we like Maurizio’s ideas and interior decoration style but also thought he was very professional. Maurizio quickly understood that we were stretched and shielded us from background admin so we only had to focus on big decisions. He accompanied us all the way through, and spent hours helping us decide on which wall or shelf to place such or such piece of art. He and his team were always fully prepared which made project progression very efficient. He always listened to and took on our feedback and would provide scale drawings and mood boards for each room. This helped us visualise things and discuss options.Impressively, he kept the same patience and motivation until the very end, to deliver a fully completed project; the end result in our home is stunning and super cool. It has been a pleasure working with Maurizio and remain in touch to definitely use his services again.”Mr & Mrs W.

“The team were very generous with their time, and towards the end Maurizio spent hours helping us decide on which wall or shelf to place art. Impressively, he kept the same patience and motivation until the end, to deliver a fully completed project”
